Hi there, just wanna say what a great site this is. Just joined so this is first post.
Just got a 2.1td estate which is knocking on the rear. I can move the rear wheels both sides slightly by hand ( whilst car on ground). No grinding noise whilst driving so can i discount bearings? Would i be right in thinking bushes? If so where is best place to get em from? ANd how are they to change?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Too many possibles to give you a definitive answer.
Favorites however are rear track rods, and rear drop links.
With the car on the ground get an "assistant" during the break at her favorite soap opera, to wiggle the wheel while you feel about the linkages for movement.
Alternatilvley, jack the car up and remove the wheel and have a poke around with a big pry bar to look for movement.
Good luck
