Yes, a groaning caliper sounds right here. Most of the 406's rear calipers will seize more and more over the years. A good pads out, pins out, clean up, copper grease up will sort it for now.
Oh and mjb meant that purely by looking at the Laguna splitter - it bent!.
(he is an ex Laguna owner and is still very bitter about the experience even though we've all told him it's ok and not to worry, we all make mistakes etc etc. I think eventually he will need some professional councelling to ease him through the post-Laguna period).
HPI engine info, anyone, anything ? and in return...

well i got me anti roll bar bushes in, didnt seem a too hard job at all. Unfortunatley the knocking is still there
its lessened i admit probably only due to the fact that the old bushes were shagged and in replacing them has stopped movement on another bush, part thats knckerd from moving so much. What an annoyance. Anyone know of anyother common back suspension faults apart from the roll bar bushes to have a look at ?

is that the leading arm drop link, the tie rod looking bar going into the middle of the car, or the dog leg end of the anti roll bar to the wheel hub ? or am i talkin cack and its none of these things ? lol i aint really had a poke about the 406's ive had, only cus i aint had cause to. Though most folk of my age at the time probably would of had to being 19 and stererotypically thrashed the knackers out of any car they got theyre hands on, i aint one of them lol
ya dont normally hear of 23 year olds driving 406's, im one of em and proud of it, rather have a damn fine car than a rice burning fibre glass shopping trolley anyday
