Running Temp - D8 2.1TD

Post by Tiny Tim »

Can any owners give me a rough idea of the running temp on the above? Mine sits at about 80degrees on normal driving in the current weather but hits just over 90degrees when at a standstill. Is this acceptable? Also, can anyone tellme when the fan SHOULD cut in?

Many ta's! :cheesy:

That sounds about right to me, also Heinz says 83° C. I'm not sure about the fan, mine has 2 and hot climate air con so it's probably different. I'd think when it gets to 90 the fan should think about comming on. Heinz says "before it gets in the red", which is very useful.
