Fuel filler cap

Can anyone give any good advice to fix the filler cap as it does not all ways open and im getting worried incase i cant get it open :x

Mines started doing this. been some talk round hear about some bits of plastic snapping off, but i can't see anything missing on mine.

I just wedge the release in the car up and then press on the right hand slide of the flap.

Thanks for that. Usually i have people in the car so they hold it while i press the filler. But i have a feeling this may not always work :x which will result in me braking it.

sounds like somethings jamming? Cable stretching?

My D9 came with this feature.... With my girlfriend pulling the lever up as far as it would go I could just manage to get the flap open. I wasn't sure if it was the cabin end or the fuel flap end. I went for the filler end because I thought'd end up having to take the seats and carpet out. Bad move. Flap was a bastard to get off without damaging anything and it all seemed fine, just too much slack in the cable. I stuffed a bit of tube I made in there to take up the slack which kind of fixed the problem but I'm not happy about it. One day I'll see how much of a pain it is to get to the other end.

The plastic hinge on the d9 filler flap is crap the centre lug of three snapped tried superglue no dice hoping to use some of that metal cement to re stick it. meantime i wedge open release handle and the push right top corner to open flap ahh peugeot :lol:

PEUGEOT THE DRIVE OF YOUR LIFE as long as you dont run out of fuel due to not being able to open the filler cap :lol: :lol: :lol:
