MOT booked, now worried :(

Post by TehAgent »

booked for 3 in the noon tomorrow.

Exhaust has been sorted out. got a complete exhaust including cat for £184 new.

Just worried about this damn speedo not working because with out it, its not going to be clocking up any miles, replaced the speed sensor on the gear box, and pug stealer's want £41 for the bitron unit that i cant afford now that I've just sorted out the exhaust.

is this really anything to worry about? anyone else had the sticky speedo and taken their car for a MOT with it like it?

So how'd it go. Breeze through the MOT, yeh?

I've got mine booked in for a service & MOT in a couple of weeks, just hope it doesn't mean a second mortgage.

what kind of MOT station do you work at then?
you need the No. plates to:
A. register the car on the VTS device
B. they also need to be free from obstructions i.e. no cracks
C. the rear one MUST have some kind of illumination

there also was a special notice that went out in september regarding stricter rules on No. plates
