my indicators flash at a very rapid rate,
think it might be my rear led's?
one of the reverse lights doesent work, and neither does one of my fog lights,
no idea why.. tried changing the led's but makes no diff..
oh and i get a weird rapid relay click coming from under the dash...
and one of the rear reg plate led's keeps flickering on and off.........
other than that, not much lol.

coolant light is constantly on, even tho the radiator is full?
nsf foglight lense is missing a bit in the middle, damn pigeons in road!
front passenger door speaker doesnt seem to work when playing CDs, fine on radio tho?
cigar lighter is bigger than ANY in-car charger, so frequently looses connection
only got 92bhp, but a visit to the derv dr should sort that out!
The answers no!

Now whats the question?

Untrue - The V6 and the 2.1 TD both had hydraulic systems in the D8 :P

aftermarket led's,
got them in the front sidelights, wingmirror indicatos, reverse light, and rear indicator light,
and the rear number plate.
was gutted i couldent get them for the rear sidelights...

nothing to do with the indicator lights? damn...
my friend suggests where i have so many led's that maybe there is excess power and thats why my indicators flash so fast?

im just gratefull thats all there is..

Secondly, the mechanic says that the air dozer is probably blocked. It's that small plastic triangle that sits between the airbox and the engine. Apparently if it's blocked it will restrict the flow of air into the engine and cause problems. supa
Hello All - just bought my 03 ' Hdi a few weeks ago and spotted my very first oil leak... it's off the rocker-cover oil breather pipe which connects into the inlet pipe (after the airbox) which is literally dripping oil onto the manifold causing oil fumes (evidenced by fresh oil pooling on my finger when I dabbed the underside of this pipe).

Showed the partsman at the Peugeot dealership who commented that it was very odd, as it looked like it had shrunk and charged me £3.70 for a new 'pair' of oil breather hoses (daft as you only need one!).

Now I am wondering - WTF - is oil passing through this pipe and dripping straight into the throttle body ? Thinking, I'll get one of those weeny 'air filters' instead, and extend my forced air induction piping directly to the manifold (to do away with the restrictive U Bend air inlet pipe there currently).

Anyhow I'll get some before and after pickies up once I've got it re-assembled.

But surely oil shouldn't be escaping out the breather at the top of the rocker cover so does this suggest a deeper problem within ?

Indicator relays usually go nuts when there's a bulb blown, I think it's a feature, so presumably it's not seeing enough current flowing through your leds and doing the same. I have a suspicion you might get frowned at during your next mot...

It looks light a shunt resistor might be required to get the current up.
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

I've just done all the antirollbar bushes & droplinks,
Also rear discs, pads & handbrake shoes. Shoes had disintegrated inside the brake disc on the way to visit the outlaws! Wonderful timing

Still to sort out;
Bottom engine mounting bush (Not looking forward to that!)
New rad
Oil leak from somewhere; got to sort that cos it's dripping on the cat and making a wonderful smell!
Top link rods on the rear
Front discs & pads
Stereo gone wierd; sound suddenly loses volume & bass & then rights itself if you change from cd to radio ?! Got me foxed that one :?
Rear caliper sliders are nearly seized, out with the copper slip!
Oil change & oil/air filter, basically a good service!
Need to resolder switch on keyplip!
Sort out ABS light!
New clips on door sill rubber both sides; the muppet that had the car before me had tried sticking it with no-nails!!
Lots of dings and scrapes from the previous careful owner

Apart from all that I love the car :cheesy:

My handbrake beep went away after I gave the handbrake a good old workout on and off really quickly and it's never happened since.

Make sure no one sees you doing it though cos you will look like a mad man
