It's an uprated chain. Still simplex though. This would be the same guy who's running a 4.0 Senator (only one in the country). It's an amazing car but if you thought 406s have problems... At least we can get spares!
Here you go:
Mint, 40,000miles, 20 grand to you sir.
I've really got no idea what I'd have. I don't mean to generalise but I find all japanese cars soulless, german cars are pretentious, american cars are badly built and don't go around corners, korean cars just shout "cheap", italian cars look great but fall apart, french cars - electrics......
Obviously a car is a trade off between what you want, what you need and how good you want it to be. My next car will be an estate or at a push a hatchback, I simply couldn't live with a saloon, and it'll most likely be a diseasel. I quite liked jag X-type estates for a while. BMW 5 series touring would be nice. Maybe a chelsea tractor of some shape or form, but I can't afford to run a bloody pug! I know it's swearing but I'm really liking the new mondeo at the moment.
Who knows?

You know, it's difficult to replace such a nice comfy high spec car without thinking you've traded-down a bit these days. Afterall you would have to spend some chedder to get all the extras that the exec has.
I can't help feeling that a natural progression would be a 407, they look good, handle well etc. BUT - are they as unreliable as people suggest??
The problem for Estate lovers is that the 407 estate doesn't look as good as the 406 estate IMO.
