Lemon/Pug 16 valve
Reading that I feel a bit silly for not doing anything to mine (apart from caning their arses off of course). They were mint tho.

My g/f only just got used to my D8, after 2 years of going to any blue estate in the car park. Then the first time I pulled up in the '9 she walked straight past me...

as for one getting parts for it would be a mission! as most tend to need a rebuild by now

i would go for the turbo lump :D as most parts on that engine cross over to so many other french models so parts would be easyer to get hold of
plus its a lot better engine in my book more power when you need it i.e low down not over 4k like the Mi
dont get me wrong the Mi16 is a fan bloody tastic engine as long as you keep the revs up but then your drinking fuel lol

but if it is a Mi16 engine you want buy it with the car around it 8) can not beat a good blast down the country lanes in a 405 Mi16
i miss mine
tell me about it :cheesy: . i love my Mi16 but it can be hard work sometimes , below 4k rpms it gets left behind even by the local chavs in their fiesta zetec sports but once it hits 4k you can feel the power coming in and it fulls quite hard then even having no trouble in keeping up with an imprezza . as for fuel consumption dont ask  , driving it slow i can get 140 miles out of £20 ( 103.9 p a litre    ) but when i start driving it properly that only lasts me about 70 miles if im lucky  .
kenny have a look at my video i made a while back ( when i could afford to drive it hard lol ) and see if you fall in love with the noise like i did when i bought it :cheesy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9oTaI6Rd1w
just dip me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians

That would be er..... 140/(2000/103.9)*4.546 = 33mpg

  droolling .... wanting so bad!! i really wanna try to put my ass inside that car and drive it hard! unlike my current engine, mine hardly 'tries' to run with the bulky 19" wheels and added weight from wheel adaptor and heavy audio stuff inside da trunk.
Cars, Computers, Chicks, 3C for a complete life. add a number 6 between them then you get double pleasure. hahaha!
