Welcome to Barcelona Bangers
Barcelona Bangers is a Rally with a difference, imagine driving from Calais, down through central France and on to historical Lyon, then over the French Alps, yes you read that correctly, OVER the French Alps and on to fashionable Nice on the French riviera, on the final day we drive along the south of France and into Spain where we drive along the Spanish Mediteranian coast and on to Barcelona on the Costa Dorada, sounds fun! then come and do it in a car worth less than £200..
The Route
Day 1 - Friday 18th July 2008 - Calais to Lyon
We will all meet in Calais at 9am where all the teams can laugh (sorry, admire) each others bangers!
Route:
The first days route will take us down through central France, this is the longest days drive and will put us in reach of the Alps..
Approximate distance - 400 miles

Day 2 - Saturday 19th July 2008 - Lyon to Nice
Route:
The second day will take us from Lyon, directly over the French Alps and on to Nice on the French Riviera for our second nights stay.

Day 3 - Sunday 20th July 2008 - Nice to Barcelona
Route:
The final day will take us from Nice, along the French Riviera and into Spain for our drive to Barcelona.
Approximate distance - 400 miles
I've already booked our Calais Hotel.
We'll prob be staying 3 nites in Barcelona.
This is our Car for the Rally, we bought it in Nice for 4 pints of lager from a competitor in The Crumball Rally cos we didn't think our car would make it home. But we managed to get both cars home.
