Bastards!

Post by STALLED »

Some scumbag decided it would be a nice idea to have a go at my car and take the top half of the Peugeot badge on the boot with them. Seriously, do people not have anything better to do with their deadshit lives? It's not like its even school holidays anymore!

And begs the question - why the f**k would anyone want to badge a Peugeot. I never thought that they were that cool? Like there were a trillion BMW's and Mercs parked around me at the time - why didnt they go for somthing like that?

Anyways - Peugeot probably want one trillion billion zillion dollars for a small piece of plastic they only sell as a kit which involves the whole boot lock (They allways do this just to sh*t you off - afterall its french)...

Watch out at Westfield Chatswood - There is a Francophile badge theif doing the rounds.

If someone tries to offer you half a Peugeot badge down the pub, Please hit them numerous times in the face for me.

If someone offers me half a badge in the local pub I'll be able to freak them right out by saying "You've just come back from Sydney, haven't you!?!?!?! ".

I got a brand new boot badge off Ebay for mine, the old one had gone all cruddy. The new one's already on it's way to crudsville too :( . Anyway I asked the dealer to get me a "new type" one, it's just the chrome lion so it doesn't peel. Guess what, they couldn't find it on the system so they couldn't order it for me, typical! That's not the first part that's happened with either. :x

But then, someone scuffed my bumper, they had to pay for it to be resprayed, which meant the badges had to be replaced with new ones on both sides!!! :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: I am soooooo lucky :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: *does a little dance* 8) 8) 8) 8)

Dead lucky Welters, they made a right mess of the paint with whatever they used to get it off too.

Sorry Stalled, that really sucks.

Would it really cost that much more than sending it to a uk address? I bet the jiffy bag would be more than the postage

My mates are telling me that I should place an ad around my suburb with a reward for anyone with half a Peugeot 406 badge...then when they come to claim it (because they are some deadshit) I can then go and PIMPSLAP them in the face and get my badge back!

Thoughts...opinions?

Some silly bugger will probably pinch the badge from someone elses car to claim their reward

Bump!

Alas, I can't find a wrecked 406 here in Australia....so that means I'm going to have to check out the UK for one? The Peugeot dealer wanted $160 AUD or around 75 quid (my keyboard doesn't have the pound symbol) for this part - which includes the chrome surround? All I want is the friggin badge!

Anyone know where I can get this part from in the UK or does anyone here have the part?

Much appreciated,

Joel

I know my local scrapyard has several 406s. I'll go nab one of these when I visit and send it to you :)
