I hope andyv6 gets in contact with me so i can get the damn thing off him :)

Actually I'd like to say well done to Mr AndyV6 for having the balls to resist my aggressive £900-to-take-it-off-ebay offer on it - I did put £900 into the box in the last few minutes (seconds after I got absolute confirmation I could raise the money) but unluckily for him it went for a measley £640. I'd have expected to be out-bid on the £900 anyhow, but that's the way ebay works. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Either way, he bought it for £400 at auction so the guy's had a big grin on his face for a while and now he's made a profit - well done! :)

As I'm paying under the odds for the car, I'm publicly stating I won't hold him to the £40 exhaust fixup as long as the vehicle is roadworthy (as described) when I go to pick it up. Hell I've just bought a V6 - Do i want a silent exhaulst for now? Hell no! :)

I just hope the guy hasn't ditched us for a german motor ;)

The V6 will be awesome, I'm sure, Picking it up on Sunday so I'm spending most of tomorrow nicking bits off the tubby. Now how the hell do you transplant a hydraulic clutch? ;)

Any requests of parts from the tubby before I scrap it, you know where to get hold of me... I probably won't have it in a week's time, and you know I'm not out to make too much of a profit...

V6's already have hydraulic clutches as far as I know. If you have a leather gear knob or a leather steering wheel on your tubby, let me know :P

My dad's tubby will be the recipient of the clutch - his would seem to have a large air pocket in it somehow, or maybe a broken master cylinder

I don't think you want the gear knob and steering wheel from a 175,000 mile car. I was looking to replace them myself as they really show their age :(
