I have been waiting nearly 10 mins for a PDF to print
I did a google and turned the printer down from 600 x 600 ppi to 300 x 300 but that hasn't helped. I've also saved the PDF instead of opening it to print.
Any suggestions? I've got 16 PDF drawings to print and it looks to be 160 mins waiting

From what I recall, PDF's are vector images, so they can be scaled to pretty much any resolution (within reason) and when printing from Acrobat (not reader) it takes absolutely ages as it has to render the "images" and then print them. This can take upto 50% of your memory.
I recall printing out a shoddy 2 page credit application form for work and it used almost 600mb of memory to print it. I switched to Arobat reader and it printed straight away.
If you have Acrobat (not reader) installed, it may be using that when your opening the PDF, if so, i'd advise using Acrobat Reader to open it, and print.
Welly, google foxit pdf reader, download it, and load that bad boy up. give it a bash printign from there..

Thanks,
Nick
