stop light flashing
hi guys im new to this forum and new to owning peugeot's.
Anyway i bought my current 1999 (T) pug 406 glx hdi (110) and when i turn on the climate control the stop light starts flashing, so the question is gentlemen have any of you seen the same problem and what was the fix?

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Wondering if the a/c compressor is shafted, causing loads of strain on the aux belt - would that throw up a 'STOP'?

hi guys and thanks for the responces.
claimate control does turn on, although i think it really need regasing because it doesnt get as cold as a/c should.
i wil look at the cooling fan speed resistors and relay. also do any of you know when pug finished making the d8's coz mine is a 1999 but from what i have read it should be a d9 (ie. d9's came in 1999) but it has the d8 grill and lights.

Yeah changeover year 1999, so it could be either really. There were a few hybrids produced too, some bits D8 and some D9. We know those as D8.5s

well i bought me d8.5 really cheap an have fallen in love with it so want to put all the tiny faults right. (there arnt many)

If yours has a D8 front then that post I found for you might not work as the D8's have 2 fans whereas the D9 has one multi speed fan. Still worth a look though I suppose.

that one has near enough the same facia..... mine has got buttons and a small screen not dails for the heating..
