For about 2-3 weeks now i've notice this:
When I slow down and turn curves my car sometimes just dies.
For example:
I was comming up to a stop sign and went from 3rd into 2nd gear and just after I clutch and start to change it dies.
At a stop light I clutched about 200 meters before the light and rolled the 200 meters till I had to stop and again it dies.
It does it alot when going real slow and downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and usually happens from 2nd to 1st. 4th to 3rd going 50 or so doesn't cause this.
Also noticed when I start the car in the mornings lately it idles from 700rpm to 1100 rpm as if it had a hard time staying on. This doesn't happen after the motor is warm.
What should I look for? I changed the spark plugs like 3 months ago and oil is also fine. Need some ideas.

The stepper motor - mine done the exact same thing.. going round a corner with the music on, and not realising the car has dies leads to an interesting dilema with no power steering! :O
The stepper motor was about ?55 GBP tho.. :S

Yeah, the loud music + loss of power steering can have it's moments... So far I have been lucky and could catch it fast enough to restart the car.

The stepper motor is basically the automatic choke in newer cars. It adjusts the petrol/air (i think) so that theres more when its cold, and less when its warm (or something like that).
From what I remeber - it took about 4-5 mins to change, and was easily reachable - but i was watching.. Haynes dont list it in the manual - as far as i can see!
I'll have a look about online and see what I can find.

This is why, boys and girls, I never drive with music so loud that I can't hear what my car is doing
. That is not to say my music is whispering.... but its not rattling my interior either.
Also, the rev counter isn't there just for show. Watch it, it'll tell you if your engine is not on, IE the arm drops to below zero.

Problem Resolved
This topic is kinda old but to close this topic the problem was resolved when I had the cam and timing belt changed. Also changed was water pump and the rolls the belts are on.
