It's official - Women love my car

Post by Welly »

Her indoors asked to use my car yesterday to ferry 3 of her friends to the local shopping retail park place.

I sneakily engaged the front seat heaters beforehand (knowing she won't press buttons) and the front seat passenger Woman was reported as saying "oooh I'm getting hot........Oooh my bum's hot.....Oooh now my back's getting hot" Mrs Welly explained it's got heated seats and the passenger then began to enjoy it commenting on how nice it was for her and how comfortable it was.

Meanwhile the rear seat Women, (where I had engaged the armrest, edged the front seats forward a touch, and drew the sunblind beforehand) commented on how nice and comfortable it was for them, and they kind of slumped back with legs stretched apparently - like they were being chauffered around!

It was nice really to think they appreciated the comfort and space so much and it seems the 406 can still impress, even Women! 8)

Its true - Da Layeeez luv da 406!

I get heaps of comments on it too + the fact that its a pretty rare car down here...they kinda like it!

Had one member of the opposite sex claim that my car was "arrogant and sleazy" - really don't know where that one came from! Needless to say we don't speak anymore! :P

I was UBERSUPERIMPRESSED when some very good looking blonde chick around my age (19) gave me a wave back in her Mi16 - now thats a cool car! :cheesy:

All I've got from the v6 so far is a shrieking and "i hate these leather seats - i'm sliding all over the place" from a woman in the back :(

I have a claim to fame here - I once 'transfered' my missus from the offside to the nearside of the back seat during a roundabout manouvre 8)

Probably praying the seatbelt wouldn't break else she'd be out the window on the other side ;)

If I had to say there was one thing I miss about the saloon, it'd be the back seat space and comfort. The estate has the rear seats mounted slighlty forward to increase boot space, and the seats certainly aren't as comfortable as they are in the saloon...... BUT I never sit back there so I couldn't give a toss really  The kids seem happy enough

Same thing goes for the Coupe.

The front and rear seats realy hold on to you. In the back you're really snug in the seats, you have ample leg room, a nice big armrest and somewhere to put your can of coke. All with the limousine ride we're all acustomed to with the 406.

Folks are always complementing me on my "posh" car! 8)
