HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?

Hi there just wondering how many miles people's pug's have covered? Mine has done 148,000 miles and gets serviced every 10 to 12,000 its a hdi. Also i use millers diesel sport4 every fill up with shell diesel extra. Just interested with peoples feedback> Many thanks

Purchased by me at 142,500 last september

My Uncle services it every 5,000 - he says the older engines need it every 5,000 despite what the manufacturers say of 12,000

Servicing every 5k on a hdi? why?. Yes i understand regular servicing is a must but that seems far to soon to me. The oil i use is very high quality semi synthetic. And like i said i service mine every 10 to 12,000 miles.

Mines on 136K in an D8 exec with the 2.0L turbo petrol. Every fourth tank is BP ultimate, I find it helps, but then it might just be me...

What, your car did 113,000 miles in it's first year but you've only done 6,000 in it since?

1998 2,1 td - 217,000km + god knows what in the 2 years the speedo was on the fritz.
2004 2,0 HDi - 89,000km (I think)

139000 on my V6. Serviced by me once a year. What i mean by service is that i change the oil and oil filter and thats it

D8 2.0 turbo petrol exec. Serviced every 9k, semi-syn oil, Shell v-power or B.P. Ultimate fuel every fill up, or at worst 97 ron super plus...Purrs like a pussy cat!!

I am another service every 5k person. not that it done me alot of good.

I am winning

but its cost me alot recently. (See the post i am about to make) and I am looking at replacing the car.

142k, had it since 74.5k, 2.1TD service myself every 6 months or 8-9k, whichever is sooner + the normal garage service once a year with the MOT.

my mechanic says it could be the mass air flow meter, will check when he gets his
new diagnostics computer....
