TRIP COMP FOR D9's WITH TEMP DISPLAY ALREADY

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

TRIP COMP FOR D9's WITH TEMP DISPLAY ALREADY

Post by eoin27 »

I have a 2000 D9 HDi LX with the same display as the D9's with the trip computer. The button on the stalk doesn't push in and doesn't have the arrows on it. My question is can I do something to my car to get all the Trip information on the display.

The reason I set up a new topic is cause the other one seems to be dominated with D8 owners

now i havent looked into this in much detail, but if the wiring for the stalk button is there, then its a case of just getting the BSi configured by the dealer to tell the car it has a trip computer

I'll have a go to see if the wiring is there. If it is i'll definitely make a trip to the dealers

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
