1986 C-reg Pristine Maestro Van

Post by Welly »

Just popped to Tesco's for a generic chicken/stuffing sandwich (may contain nuts) and saw this van  :o

Now I understood that all these Austin Rovers were just a rotting heap of Iron Oxide these days but this beauty has been *really* cared for.

My mate had a works van like this about 18 years ago and I remember the comedy rock-hard rear sussy

Fair play to this one though and it was nice to see it.

Looks like a medium to big Tescos... I'd have gone for the seafood sarnies :)

That's an incredibly well looked after Maestro though. Very impressive. Notice the clear indicator lenses? Well ahead of their time *cough* The n/s headlamp looks a bit dodgy though
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
