trip reading

Post by puggy »

On sunday i took a mate to Anglesey cos he needed to drive his
car back from where he had been working . On the way home
i took this foto. I had filled the car to the brim before i left and
as i was on the way home i had already done some 160mls.
This was taken at a steady 58 mph :) :)

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

had that on my hdi quite alot, anything up to about 200 miles into the tank and it quite often reckoned it would do 1000+ miles. Never got much more than about 850/900 thou.

I think it i get a v6 and computer reckons it do 500 to a tank i'd be happy.
