Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
Had to get rid of my tubby at 178k but the engine was still sweet.
My V6 is around 113k I think. Not entirely sure

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?

Time will tell if it lasts to any significant mileage

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
thanks welton....
but as i said...there are a few issues with the engine..
and as far as i kno its to do with the air intake!
just waitin on that new diagnostics computer...
the way it drives though, i could see it hittin 300,000 and the amount i drive it,
sooner rather than later!
EDIT: purchased at 79,000 in 2001! for £3500

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
The ones that I remember most would be a 205 1.8 diesel which did 144k, not all that much but to put things into context it was a driving instructors car for the first 104k, when I sold it, it was still on it's original clutch and would return 72mpg without problem on my daily trip to work of 76miles. My last 405 1.8TD was sold on at 178k and ran like a dream. then one 406 1.9TD was shifted on at 140k, not a particularly bad car, it just hadn't been treated very well by the previous owner, crankshaft key way pin retainer was knackered cos someone hadn't put it on correctly, it had to built up using liquid metal glue and the suspension was suspect when sold to be honest (like it didnt feel secure going full pace around corners); my last 406 2.0HDi 90 was really good once I got the suspension to run true (throw away manufacture specs) and the ecu was remapped, sold with 111k. Now I have moved on to the 407 2.0HDi 136, a totally different beast in every way. I still enjoy this forum tho

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
Bloody hell, just a miss type i would imagine. Im still curious to see if anyones has covered over a million miles? And the list of problems
. Mine is just over 150,000 Miles. Just hoping it starts paying me back as i have spent thousands on mine over 5 years of ownership. Dare i say it my pug is behaving
i guess its becuase im in the process of looking at a possible replacement
. Typical of my pug it seems to have no faults then i forget buying something else and stick with the pug.

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
153k in my 2.1td estate.
Xantia had the same engine and had covered 180ish k before I stuck it in a field.
Gets serviced around 6kish or when I remember.
Not getting many "cleanout" runs at the moment due to precarious state of licence.
Roll on may when the points come off
