So, in the spirit of reporting my findings to you boys and girls I whipped out my new Samsung G800 (which is supposed to have a 5.0 mega pixel do-dad but I can't tell any difference) and captured the following images.
I first had to lay in wait as the heavily-bearded professor looking driver and embarassed looking passenger left the scene.
I moved in for some snaps and wanted to get some more but was getting strange looks so I had to leave with only 2.

Here we can see the grain of the wood in all it's beauty. I popped into Homebase later and confirmed the colour to be one Sadolin Antique Pine
Look closely at the 21/2" No.10 Countersunk Slotted wood screw fixing and how the owner has 'notched out' to accept the cross-bars which were not in place (presumably for aerodynamic reasons) Hope you enjoyed!
