Just doing mirrors. No rear leccy windows in either. Will probably have to leave in the manual mirrors and paint them. My main concern is the temp gauge in the leccy wing mirror on the lx. I'd like to have the temp on my display in my new one but the wiring for it is just not there!!!! :( :( :( :(

I don't know the D9 at all. When I fitted the leccy mirrors to my D8 there was a spare 2 core socket clipped behind the mirrors which I had to scrap to fit the replacement harness. Now if all you want is the temperature sensor you could utilise these 2 wires if the D9 has the same. Saves buggering about with the cabin connector which is a Bastard!

Hold on. You got me excited here. Yes I have the connector with two wires in both wing mirror holes in the doors of the basic one. Are these for a temp sensor??? If so then I'm sorted. There is a white and green wire. Do these connect to the temp sensor and then the display through the existing plug for the display?

I don't now what they're for but you could utilise them; the sensor only uses two wires. May be worth sticking a meter on and seeing if they meet up with the display plug, fingers crossed!
