For Sale, D9 1.8 LX

Post by Mike84 »

Peugeot 406 LX (Mk2 D9 shape)
1800cc Petrol
2000 W Reg with 79'000 miles.

Dark Blue Metalic Colour
Electric Windows
Remote Central Locking
Electric Mirrors
Climate Control
Power Steering
Auto Wipers
CD / Radio
Detachable Towbar (fitted by me, only towed trailer twice)
Full Service History

Cambelt Kit and Waterpump changed at the last service, 4 good tyres (Goodyear) with 5mm left on all 4. Next service due in 1800 miles.

Body work needs some minor attention to rear driverside after a small scrape. There are also a few other car park / shopping trolley marks.

12 Month MOT, has just gon straight through needing nothing, no advisory issued.

Interior is is good condition, no rips or burns anywhere as I don't smoke!

The car is in good condition, and is an idea family car, I am only selling because I am looking to downsize to something smaller, such as Pug 306 size.

The car currently has a private plate and it wont be included in the sale, so I would need to put the plate on retention before any sale could go through.

I am looking for £1400 ono, any sensible offer will be considered,

Please PM me if you are intrested.

Unfortunately your car is one of the less desirable 406s and most people on this forum are aware that you can get a lot more car for a lot less money going a bit older for a D8 in executive trim. I'd try ebay/autotrader where a post-2000 reg plate is worth a lot more. Pictures also vastly increase your chances of selling anything over £500
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I'm guessing this car is sold? considering the topic is over a year old.
