I wonder if it is possible to change the instruments on my puegeot 406, namely I have now the clock and the speedometer and I would like to change that for rev counter and speedometer. Does anyone know if this is possible and how?
Thanks!

Re: Changing instruments on dashboard
I have heard that it's a straight swap. No mods necessary, just swap the cluster over!
That's second hand information though, I read it a while back where a guy was upgrading an L to a GLX.

Is it possible that the wiring is the same? Because mine has no rev counter. Where does the rev counter gets the information on revs? Alternator?

Re: Changing instruments on dashboard
It's more than likely a digital PWM signal from the ECU based off the TDC sensor.

So, you reckon it's a straight swap? Thanks anyway

Ya Joe is pretty good. Although not as good as the king of swing, the master of disaster and Jon's partner in crime; MR. RICHIE SAMBORAteamster1975 wrote:Hey, Joe Satriani, legend guitarist!

Thanks. I still think that Joe has got that 'something' none of the others do. ;)
