406 Executive/GLX 2000 X plate Facelift

First of all let me say sorry for my first post being a for sale thread, I have been a member on other forums and I know its poo when a first members post is a for sale thread. However the car is not mine it is my mothers and I know that its alot better to offer a car to someone who wants one rather than people who have no interest in the model etc

Right its a

2000 X plate (makes it the facelift?)
406 2.0 Executive (137 bhp model)
Light blue (Im sure you know the colour I mean)
102k est on the clock
Completely standard, usualy alloys cd ac etc etc
Comes complete with tow bar

Only problem is the clutch is on the way out, it can be driven just not advisable. Reason she is selling is due to the fact she ahs just got a new 08 passat company car so this one is just sat on the drive. It does have tax and MOt so can be taken away without any worries of police getting you lol. There are some small rust patches on the rear bottom doors (common thing?) nothing major. (Oh I think the ac needs regassing)
As you can imagine with it being a family car she ahs only used it to get to work and abck and down to the shops so never abused in the slightest. Would make an ideal car for someone

If I am right I beleive my garage quoted around £ 270 all in for a clutch change, although Im sure you guys on here can get it alot cheaper as is the way with forums lol

She has put me in charge of selling it (typical) so £1605 - the £270 clutch is £1335...

For sale at £1100 ono (she wants rid as its taking up room lol so make me an offer)

No, not common at all, the doors are meant to be galvanised.

I have just been over to see the car to take pictures and it says GLX on the side so I am assuming the exec and GLX are two diff cars? there is a price diff of £200 from exec to GLX so car is now £900 ono

I do have to say that the engine is MINT! and the interior is unmarked I just cant seem to get the photos from my phone to the bloody internet so sorry for the delay.

Oh she also said the MOT is till NOV 08

Yeah there's quite a big difference between the GLX and the Exec, various bits and bobs but the biggest difference was that the Exec has full leather interior. There was also a GTX in between, which was pretty much the exec without the leather.
