ive now given up with my short peugeot affair and gone back to jap.

the experience with peugeot has been bad but the club has been great!

only an early diesel one cos ill be needing the 7 seats in a few months and i heard u can run them on cooking oil mixed with diesel no problems , not that id ever condone that of course ripping the government off and all that

I gather from another thread they're quite keen on it and have even dropped some of the tax (Euro directive no doubt, I bet in reality they're dreaming up more evil schemes to steal all your money Be ready for a portion of chips to cost £15)

Ah something I know a bit about! Yeah you can now legally use 2500l of veg oil a year without having to declare it and pay fuel duty, so don't worry about ripping off the government . You can use it in an old disco well in excess of 50% in the summer, some of my mates have used 75% , but only use about 25% in the winter or it'll solidify in the fuel lines, and that's not good.

Only problem is now there's very little benefit cost wise. A couple of years ago you could readily get 3l bottles for 99p, but now it's over a quid a litre in most supermarkets. Even if you get the 20l drums from makro they're still about £17, sure it's a bit of a saving but nowhere near as profitable as it used to be. Best bet is to keep your eye out for special offers, I noticed costco or someone was doing it for 62p a litre last week.
