Breaking Exec Turbo XU10J2TE

Post by niz406 »

Ok guys....

So here it is, I'm picking up a new car on Tuesday and I am therefore at the point of no return with the 406... it has to go, now based on book value, I'm going to make more money stripping her down for parts...

So to guage interest I have for sale...

T25/28 Hybrid Turbo - Covered less than 200 miles with new bearings / seals / carbon seal kit after recent rebuild.
Newly rebuilt T25 Standard turbo
Full stainless Powerflow decatted exhaust - Turbo back
Spare engine ( in bits, but comes with new water pump, driveshafts, ECU & loom perfect project for someone.... James ;) lol )
Leather Interior - pretty mint, except drivers seat - the leather has cracked a bit, but has always been cleaned and treated as it should be every 3 months.
Bailey DV26 'Evo' dual piston dump valve
TurboSmart FCD - allows you to run more than standard max boost
10 month old Radiator
Magnecor 8mm blue leads
NGK Iridium plugs
Complete engine in the car, with a rebuilt head less than a year or so old.
All 3 Peugeot coolant sensors - in packets unopened
2 Cooling fans covered less than 6000 miles.
3 cooling fan relays - covered less than 4k
4 x Locking Wheel nuts in case with key
17" Kahn RSR replicas, all but 1 have been scuffed... tyres all ok. Will need balancing as it's off
APEX 35mm lowering springs.
Obviously anything else you can think of off the car that you might need.... shell will go to scrappers when it's finished with!

Alternatively if you want to buy the whole lot for a project... or what ever reason, I may let it go job lot ! !

So don't be shy, make me an offer.... But please no silly offers.

It runs it just needs bodywork attention.... especially after my manager crashed into it...

To be honest I'm looking to make a grand from the bits.... so if you are going to offer me a grand for the car, you can have it... job lot with the spare engine ( thats in bits ) etc.. lol But it does need some work for the next MOT... hence why I would prefer to break it.

No but I can take some....

150k
5 Months
5 Months
Passenger side wishbone bushes.... I have a spare wishbone with new bushes on, just not fitted it. Handbrake needs adjusting, Personally I think front wheels could do with balancing and the tracking. Catalytic convertor needs putting on, on eBay you can get a 200 cell sports cat for £99 and that's a stainless one too. You would just need to get it welded onto the stainless exhaust to have a full stainless.... sports cat system !

Last but not least one side light bulb needs replacing, and that's it I believe.

It's got war wounds... and could do with a full respray to be honest, what with all the car park dengs and scuffs / scratches... Which is why it might be better stripped for parts then at least the shell can go to the scrappers lol

Oh yes... GTST RB25DET 2.5 straight 6 single turbo.... unmolested engine... well almost, engine and ecu standard, still in KMPH and limited to 112mph.

Looks of a GTR, all original nissan kit, no glassfibre, coil overs and nice aftermarket wheels..

Pick it up tomorrow.... so will get some piccies uploaded for you to see !

A collegue had one of those but on an M reg, totally original (at first) low mileage clean import.

He had a HKS induction kit, Hyper Dragger eggauce, and sequential D/V fitted. The eggsauce note was very nice (he didn't know the Hyper system was straight through :o ).

I drove it once and the power in the upper revs was amazing - it just kept pulling 8) straight six, 2.5ltrs, single turbo and variable valve timing.

I iz well jelus Niz

This is one that I test drove and fell in love with.... so thought I better have it ! !

It has dual stage boost control as standard, 0.4 bar low boost and 0.7 bar high boost, low upto 4500rpm then high boost all the way to the redline ! :D

I've already got my circa 400hp set up planned.... so hopefully will be done within 2 - 3 months ! Then it's going to be stupid ! lol

By all accounts the Nissan's have plenty of fuel to play with (as most jap cars) they run a bit more fuel as the ECU uses it for in-cylinder cooling and judging by the huge balls of flames from my friends standard set up I can agree.

Can't wait to see your piccies :cheesy:
