Maybe he "googled" a showroom archive picture of a brand new exact same model and tom is an expert photo shopper

Seriously though, a nice motah, and a nice newbie member I think :)

Just finished with the Turtle Wax Ice, wow!, I'll have to go to a field to photograph it as you can't see the car for reflections. . It's got lots of little stone chips when you get up close but I can live with them. Main concern is the speedo dying and coming back to life every few mils or so, also the cruise control can be a bit iffy off the motorway. Maybe they're related problems.
Thanks for all the kind comments, I'll enjoy them while I can as when you get to know me a bit better they'll certainly dry up.

PS
Just noticed the 1.6 8V under my sig, will have to get a few more postings in to get rid of that!

I thought the first incarnation of Bluey Bling was an '96-'97 D8 mod putting it all around the body like later D8s and D9s?

Technically yes. Thats what I meant by putting the beading on the rub strips. The bits of black trim on the doors and bumpers.
I did that first and few days later finished the job and posted more pics.

Never on take off, sometimes on landing  . It's very soft and bendy though so no bother....

Often find it resting on curbs though, it's OK going on but not so nice coming back off. :(
