I was shocked. "It's now what you drive, it's how you drive it". Thought I was watching a serious program like 5th Gear there - they should just stick to blowing things up and being funny while driving supercars :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Yeah makes me feel better about selling the HDi and buying a petrol.

Of course there's no chance of me driving it gently to save more fuel than the HDi - which is a bit of a flaw in my plan

I made damn sure my missus knew at least 3 hours in advance that I would be sitting (with cold Stella in hand) in front of the TV for a solid hour and there were to be no interuptions :x

It worked - she went upsairs 8)

@ Eric - what do you mean selling the HDi/buying a petrol? what have I missed? week before last you were only "toying" with the idea  is there a post on this?

Still in planning stages at the mo mate.
The Mrs has to pay her car off in September then we have an extra £200 a month so I'm allowed to get something "a little" more sporty :)
But until September I'm still driving the HDi, in September I'll trade in in for a little number I have my eye on :)

Oh hope you had a good holiday mate :D
