Feel a c*nt

Post by steve_earwig »

Seeing as how there's not much going on just now (how dare you all have lives :frown: ) apart from the poor bloke with dump valve issues (which I know sod all about, sorry), I thought I'd stick this on here.

This is your typical Croatian "must overtake everything" deathwish nutcase, who, despite the large number of roadworks (nice try guys but you missed all the bits that actually needed doing) decided that he was more important than everyone else. I had to laugh when the queue of cars he was overtaking turned out to be sitting at a red light and he had to stand on the brakes, I was hoping there'd be a nice artic coming the other way but no such luck and, sadly, the road crew waived him to the front when the lights changed. Never mind, he'll get his.

Yes, I know my car needs a wash, the streaks are courtesy the cat who likes to leave his mark by sliding down the windscreen :x

Tell me about it, when I try anything like this there's generally somethng coming my way at speed and I have to duck back in sharpish but these guys, I dunno what it is but it's like they've got some sort of 6th sense - even overtaking on blind bends there's nothing coming the other way :frown:

He can't be a c*nt cos they're useful for something
I heard a classic the other day, bloke barging through roadworks and drove through some wet tar; splattered all over his car  The best thing is there was nothing he could do about it because he'd gone inside the cones to jump the queue :cheesy:

I drive this

5 or 6 days a week. I cover up to 3,000 km every week, touring Germany and Switzerland whilst delivering Scottish produce. Then collecting goods for UK and delivering them on my way home.

Seems a lot of the drivers in your neck of the woods are mostly braindead Steve!

In England I used to drive aggresivly at times, here it's impossible, about 75% of the drivers are complete imbeciles and you have to watch out for someone doing truly stupid all the time you're behind the wheel.

They get squished at a phenominal rate, unfortunatly. There's regularly something on the news and I get that "you're never getting on that thing again" look :( It's not just the drivers either, the roads are pretty awful, masses of potholes (a bit like Hackney), overbanding to excess, registers and drains all over the shop and poor drainage so water flows across the roads, usually leaving masses of sand and gravel on bends.

I really need to flog the TDM and get something a little less top-heavy, I really don't feel good on gravel. Maybe a trailie so I can avoid the roads altogether...
