You used to get a different coloured disc for each time period of the year (presumably so it was easy to spot a wrongly coloured out of date disc).
Has anyone else noticed this?

I've just re-taxed my car on-line and noticed it was a red disc (just like last time). A quick glance at her indoors car confirmed her's was a red disc too but with a different expiry date

I thought the colour was for the year it expired and not the month/time of year. if they expire in the same year probably same colour.

And they've also rescinded the stupid daytime headlamps thing (YAY!!!), now I'll have to get out of the habit of turning the things on all the time 
At least I can use my automatic headlamps now 
They've also raised the blood alcohol limit from 0.0% (there's more than that in fruit juice you dumbasses) to 0.05% (UK = 0.08). It won't make much difference to me anyway, I quite like fruit juice but I don't drink alcohol at all.

From 80 to 50mg I think.
