406 sri turbo upgrade to t25/t28 hybrid

Post by scoop »

so helloo guys, i finally upgraded my peugeot 405 with the 406 sri turbo and its runing fast scince the 405 is lighter than the 406, but i came up with the idea of turbo upgrading by which mounting the t28 wheel compressor on the t25 side so that means i will be having a stronger turbo but could it be runing safely with the standard engine internals? and what horse power increase could i expect and if not what will be required to run it safely ?
thanks alot in advance

alrite mate, i have exactly the same turbo setup on my 406 SRi-T. you can safely run the boost id say to about 11 psi. the engine will take 15 ps
i but not for long as the previous owner of my car found out wen it went bang. but im running at at 9.5 and its sweet as a nut. the standard internals are very strong in the xu10j2cte lump, which i should imagine is the engine code for you lump too. give it a try at 8 and sloly work ur way up till you think its where you want it. watch the bost guage these lumps can overboost alot
