I've been hoping the kids would do that to themselves with the fireworks but no joy as yet.

8 years ago we had a fantastic place, really unusual design - and big too. At first the neighbours seemed fine although Mr Neighbour liked keeping every car he's finished with in the last 10 years. Anyway - after we built an extension and modernised the house (all done in keeping and very nicely done) they turned into neighbours from hell!!

The solution? we moved away I figured that these people would never change and if you asked them to modify their behavior then they would get worse so we just left them to it

Now we live somewhere much better and although we have one neighbour we don't need to get involved with them if we don't want and vise versa.

In my experience you make a mistake thinking you could ever be "friends" with neighbours

Mouse-wise I'm a bit worried and I'm wondering if I got an out of date batch of poison as he seems to be bulking-up on the stuff! I've also noticed a hand-saw is missing, some 11/2" No.8 woodscrews have gone and I keep hearing a tapping/banging noise in the corner behind the dry lining
