Just reset the annoying engine management light on my 406 D9 HDI 90.
It was a throttle pot sensor that had registered when the throttle pot got sticky a month ago.
The ELM 327 from ebay worked straight out of the box only needed a usb to serial converter cable and away it went.
Was able to read and reset the code first time up, would recommend for £30.

Nice one!
Are you replacing the throttle sensor?

Well that is a good question.
I know the throttle pots do wear out and there is every chance at 127k that mine is long overdue a new one.
Will give it a month or so as the speed rises and lowers quite well after giving the pot a couple of full swipes with the accelerator pedal.
