Recirculated air

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

can anyone please tell me how to remove the recirculated air gear behind the glove box without removing the whole facia?

Don't think you can.

I'd start by removing everything you can see - glovebox, stereo, heater controls, trip computer... and see if you can even see it

cant see it but i can feel the sodding thing, it works fine when i switch it on but makes a clicking noise consistently when i switch it off.

i just put mine on then removed the pollen filter and forced the flap open
job done
no more clicky noises when i switch the switch
unfortunatly no more closing the flap from the smell as i drive through west beruit on the way home

If you've got the interior alarm you'll want to make use of the schtum button from now on. Hold it for a few seconds after shutting off the ignition until the light comes on, then the alarm won't listen to the interior ultrasonic sensors. Otherwise with the recirc flap open you'll find the alarm going off every time there's a light breeze
