Re: I hate my Accord

Got to be gutting trading in an S plate with mega miles and now getting hassle from what should be the ultimate in reliability.

sIf it's any consolation, the same sort of thing happens to me nearly every time I change a car. I have problems in the beginning and then it's all rosy for ages. The coupe being no exception. When I first had it, I had the old antipollution fault problem, that was sorted by a coupe of hundred quid. I had the bottom pulley and the heated seat element. And for ages now (touches wood), it's been faultless.

What bugs me is all the faults I've had with the coupe have been common faults, which almost stopped me even considering a Peugeot for my next car. I've come round again now, as the missus is hell bent on her next car being a 307cc, finances in the future permitting. And there's just no reasoning with a woman.

Back to the topic, lets hope that all these problems you've had are teething problems and the Accord will eventually 'get used to you' as my cars seem to have.

Well I got mine for £620... 8)

What colour and trim level is this estate?
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
