406 Air con playing up 1.9td

Hi Steve,

I have exactly the same problem, and had the aircon system re gassed.
Worked perfectly for 9 months but now not working.

I have been told it is due to a very very slow leak, which cannot be detected, so I either need
to re gas every 9 months or forget it.

I suggest you re gas as it may be fine for many years, or if you have a bad leak it would be
detected.

If the regassed it with die they should be able to see where it leaked.

They used dye but said the leak was so small they could not detect it. perhaps I shopuld go elsewhere.
