how accurate are the indicated speeds on these , was doing a steady 110 on the clock

and sat nav was showing 106 its not a built in one its a tomtom :?:

My TomTom one regularly shows about 6MPH less than the speedo. Car says 90, Tom says 84 etc etc.

At slower speeds it's about 2-3 mph less than the speedo.

The indicated speeds on satnav devices are a LOT more accurate than the one in your instrument cluster...

My speedo reads approximately 10% too high.

Anyone got any funny voices on there Sat Nav?

I want Ozzy Osbourne mine :lol:

I heard it on a friends one but the file wouldn't load onto mine using the leads/PC :cry:

Yeah I've got them, Ozzy gets on your tits after about half a mile, as does Austin Powers and.... most of the others to be honest. John Cleese is OK, but I usually leave mine on Joanna Lumley, all the "darlings" and "sweeties" make my day just that little bit happier. :wink:

Welly they were on a cd that I got given with the tom tom software, I'll have a look at the file sizes to see if they're e-mailable. PM me your e-mail addy.

Holey smokes, I've not bothered looking on this thread because sat nav's a bit of a joke here (doesn't stop people buying it though), but now I find it's actual more interesting than I thought.
