Re: CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
I don't think there's anything specific, although I think it might be easier if you've got access to an air-powered impact wrench.

Re: CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
hi, my 110 hdi dw10 engine, required a timing belt, so i had to take the crank shaft pully off, i locked the timing and flywheel up, and left it in gear and had some one sat hard on the break, then i used a 3ft strond arm with a v good quality socket. i had the front end jacked up anyway, so i didnt need to use extentions to get past the wheel arch. i had about 9-12 inches of leverage, and i pulled up with all my might and it cracked the bolt ok. just needed winding off with a rachet after that, because it had been locktighted on. BUt an impact air gun whould have been a better idea. the pully then came off with a slight tap, and job done. becarfull that there is nothing holding the crank shaf sproket on once the pully is romoved. so id be wary about having the timing belt still tentioned at this point incase it came off. this is only a concern if yo are just changing the aux belt and pully, if you are doing the timing belt, then there is no issue. hope this long winded drivvel helped.
