Well if you got a few and chopped them up, bent them right, modified where the bonnet catch mechanism goes, etc, then found some way of strengthening it....

The front ends of the D8 and D9 are very different. For one, the D8 grille is a lot bigger and a different shape thanks to the D9s bigger light clusters. The only sensible approach would be to fab one from scratch
