Yeah, I remember The Lost Boys, liked it a lot particularly the cinematography, the music and all the Jim Morrison refs.

Hmm, sequel many years after...
Comment on IMDB:
Great for Nostalgia, but it doesn't have the lastabilty of the original
I'll wait for it to come on telly thanks.

I dunno, some sequels can be as good as, T2 was in many ways a better film but Terminator, being full of no-ones (Conan the Librarian anyone?) with a daft sci-fi plot full of holes and an ultra-low budget (cardboard lorry anyone?) did turn out to be a classic that the sequel isn't. And remember a sequel, by definition, is unoriginal.

Another sequel that's arguably better than the original is Dawn of the Dead (1978). Or Mad Max 2 (dig them crazy speeded-up cars!). Or even Il Buono, il brutto, il cattivo
Tuco: [trying to read a note] "See you soon, id...” "id...” "ids...”
Man With No Name: [taking the note] "Idiots". It's for you.
Man, 1966, they must have been making that film when I was being born!
