I get moaned at for washing my car

I asked her once to help so we can do it "together" but no use. Maybe I shouldn't have asked her to wear a bikini?

I might be shortly moving into a house with a fair driveway and a carport! I can't wait to be able to buy a pressure washer :cheesy: and be able to work on the car in safety even if it's not *perfect* weather 8)

Not so much lucky as being completely shafted by my current landlord. With all the rent increases over the past few years I've realised I can move from a dump of a 2-bed end terrace to a nice double-glazed 3-bed semi and actually save money despite paying more rent as I'll pay a lot less in gas (currently £150/month to keep the house at a reasonable temperature!)

It'll be when I've unpacked. However I've still not finished unpacking after 5 years in my current abode...

Bloody hell 150.00 a month to heat

I now they all go on about it now but I can demonstrate that my 5 year old 4 bed detached with condensing boiler (13 rads and 175 ltrs hot water storage) costs me no more than 45.00 per month in gas (at today's silly prices). There's 50mm of polystyrene under the floors, thermalite block inner walls, 225mm of loft insulation and double glazed windows and doors.(with a decent air gap).

In winter I can have the rooms at 22 deg C no problem and run the heating and hot water for 15 hours a day!

And I'm paying 10 times that for oil to heat my place to 8 degrees. We worked out it wouldn't be much cheaper on gas anyway, even if there was any up my road, because the buggers tax it too.

Moan, moan, moan, moan, moan. Why haven't I got anything nice to talk about any more? Umm, oh yeah, my spuds are excellent, first time I ever grew any too.
