This was parked in front of me when I came out the diy store, it's not so clear in the pics it reminded me of a golf ball.

No, it's not my smegging car

Crikey!

Would hate that to happen to a 406, the panels are so thin

Next time I wash the D8 I'll see if I can get the angle right so I can show you what happened the time I got caught in a hailstorm. Nothing like that Ashtray though.

I saw footage of a hailstom they had out in Slavonija (the bit to the east) this year, it smashed roof tiles so you can imagine what it did to cars. After that I was pretty paranoid about them, that's why my car goes in the shed here (just). It would still be a bit of bastard if you popped into the supermarket for a pint of milk and a paper and came out to find your car was worth a lot less than when you parked it.

There's some of those on my D9's bonnet, I'm hoping they polish out :frown:

Not so permenant but the cat here, Srećko, likes to climb on my car just after I've washed it - up the bonnet, up the windscreen (scrabble, scrabble, scrabble), along the roof, back again, down the windscreen (wee!), down the bonnet and... dismount. No matter how dry it is, he always leaves a real mess :x

Hmm...

Grrr
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

steve_earwig now wishes he'd wrote:...and came out to find your car was worth a lot less than when you parked it without human intervention.
They generally leave cars alone here :?
