hi all
is there any way to run a clarion multi changer from a jvc head unit? is there a special lead, or will i have to put my original phillips unit back in?

phillips changers only work with phillips radios (D8) and clarion changers (some sony and blaupunkt too) only work with clarion radios (D9)

mine is a phillips radio with clarion changer until i put the jvc head in of course

I just got 406 yesterday and clarion only plays cda files which is crap, I have a JVC Exad KD-LHX551 which i had in my fto and vectra which plays mp3 wma etcit also says something about cd changer (MP3) control.
Can i
1. get this working with clarion cd changer (std) or will it not play mp3
2. fit in dash easily
or is it easy to change cd changer
