I thought there was a lot of wind noise coming from the passenger door of my car this morning. Got to work and re-shut the door, even though the 'door open' light wasn't on. However I've just been for a drive and the noise is still there! Got out and it looks like some scrote has decided to peel the door open from the top so the top of the closed door is now sitting about 2" from the body, and there's a big buckle in the metal just above the wing mirror
Anyone breaking a D8 in dark metallic blue?

I'm really sorry to hear that Matt, it's got to be a breakers I guess unless any of the breaking threads on here are any good

I've tried bending it back (after I persuaded the window to drop ) but it just bounces back because I can't get enough force on it. I'm taking it to someone at lunchtime who reckons they can get it straight in 20 mins.

Maybe it can be put straight and the fold flattened out, topped off with a quick spray. Hope so anyway.
Btw the brown bears in North America learned where to push on the side window of a Beetle so it pops & they could get to the goodies inside, I suspect a similar menatality.
Bastards!!!! Sorry to hear that mate I seemed to develop some low life scum take a fancy to my pug passengers side door mirror a year ago. I had it kicked off twice. No longer park there when i go out.
Well it's more or less straightened out. There's a buckle by the mirror which I'm tempted to give a hard whack with a hammer, but the important thing is it's almost sealed. I'm going to attack the top of the door with silicone sealant tomorrow to try and make the seal (it's emitting an ear-piercing whistle at 40mph). How long does that stuff take to set? I don't particularly want to seal the door shut
Be glad when I can move out of here!

I reckon clear silicone would do the job, it's got a certain amount of give when it's cured. I'm guessing you've already done the job by now Matt!
