Welly's off on his Hols (again)

Post by Welly »

Next week I shall be in Majorca (Alcudia) for a week with Mrs Welly and the tea pot lids :cheesy: this time no car hire or anything just a week of mooching about in the Sun (hopefully) and generally doing sod all 8)

Look after yourselves won't you :)

I got a letter from a friend the other morning
He says it's hot down by Montego Bay
I got the point and now I think it's finally dawning
Yeah, yeah, I got to get away
I got to take myself a permanent vacation
The sky's the limit but my plane won't fly
My nose is clean lordie don't need no sedation
Yeah, yeah, and that's the reason why
I really need it, really, really, need St. Tropez
I want a tan where the sun it never shines
I really need it, really, really, need St. Tropez
You best believe it that I got to get away
I got a sister man she really got a pin head
She think she kinky but she can't get straight
She say she livin' but I kinda think she brain dead
Just excess baggage on a late night freight
I gotta take me on a permanent vacation
The girl's be cummin' down in Cayman Brack
I gotta hand it to a firm situation
Yeah, yeah, I got to cut me some slack
Have fun!! :cheesy:

Well I'm back! think I might struggle to read all 114 threads since last visit though :o

The weather was shyte, out of 7 full days we had 1 nice day (the last day of the holiday  ) and 2 half-days of sun :( oh and Mrs Welly was blowing chunks for England for 3 days upon arrival :|

Anyways I happened across this specimen and funnily enough I only saw one or two 406's in Majorca and usually just the odd Taxi estate I kept seeing about maybe the 406 is dying off in Spain now? :(

You should avert your eyes if you're sensitive as this 406 has been slightly breathed on up by Senor Baz unfortunately

:arrowd:

Not too bad up front 8)

Oops, Senor Baz has been a bit generous with the Chromazo and has fitted Tintazo Filmazos to the rears :| I daren't take a pic of the interior but is was a mish-mash of stick on tat and nasty "racing" seat covers

Grrrrrr..... :frown:

TBH it was shyte and I was glad to be home.

I tell you one thing - I am NEVER staying in an "aparthotel" or whatever again :frown:

The noise was horrific! Mr and Mrs Wales on the Kareoke (que: "Sweet Caroline" again) their 4 (or 6) kids running riot along my corridor screaming and knocking doors.

Mr and Mrs "second honeymoon" next door stuffing the f*ck out of their headboard que: "Ooo- arrr - ooo - arrr mmm- mmmm- arrrr"

And the rain played havoc with the already overloaded drainage system requiring a strong stomach each time you passed a manhole, inspection cover, grate or whatever  :|

I don't suppose the bad weather helped my soul but I aint doing those kind of holidays again :frown: being shepherded here and there on a coach, stay in a room only just left by the previous dirty sods, uncomfy beds :x :x I want freedom, quality and piece. Fin.

Nice to be back here, have I missed much? :P :P

Hi Welly, no, not much (I'm sure you'll catch up in a day or two :P )

Ah, holidays for the hard-of-thinking :? I've been on a couple, one to an air show in England and another to Prague from here, with her pissed-up colleagues. Nothing like having your own motor with you so you can piss off when everyone gets right on your tits :x :x

Good to have you back Mr Welton sir. Sorry to hear about the shyte weather :( . Not much going on, spamtastic spamming BASTUDS everywhere and a minor altercation about HID lighting, and that's about it.

Welcome back welly you have been missed :D Just like dairees says someone was mentioning hid kits and mjb is not a fan  The usual really mate.

I was taking the piss out of steve for being my personal spell checker  Makes a change fore him ribbing both of us.

Also i thought i would save this for you my a/c went tits up last week but it was just a re gas. Spoke to the guy about yours he said it must of been a very poor quality condensor as mine is a simular age and all is good 8)

He had said if you were local he would give it a free check for you. And sort it at a reasonable price. Which we got into a long conversation about kwik fit etc... doing a/c which he has to do most of there work as they keep f*cking up big style    The course they are sent they are only shown how to connect the pipes up and press a button.

They dont even weigh the gas which you should the computer calculates it for them   .

In a nutshell get a specialist to look at your a/c no kwik sh*t fitter

I here you are getting you pug sorted. Hope its all running sweet once all the work is done Rappy 8)

Cheers all!

I had a reply from "the garage" about the failed condenser, their response was simple - f*ck off!

The car's in now for 2 days and is having (I kid you not):

Oil flush and change
Fufel filter
Front discs+pads
Rear pads and caliper clean/lube
handbrake clean/adjust
rear sussy fix (suspected trailing arm bushes  )
turbo air blaster fixed
rear engine mount :o
extinguish engine light and code read

I'm really looking forward to getting it back 8)
