I mean I can't see any way for it to screw in from your pictures - it looked like that black bit might have been force-fit or something :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Looks like he's put the plastic plug (from the new packaging) in the female thread of this old part.

Does it leak? I've heard these can be faulty.

If I post you my passport and driving license, 3x utilities, my credit and debit cards (with PIN No's) will that be ok? once you've taken your payment if you could just pop them back in the post for me when you get a moment :cheesy:

A/C stopped working today   So car was fully steamed up driving to work. Had to open the windows to clear it.

I thought more money

Yes its the same as puggy my pressure switch has just started leaking but my ac is working intermitent.

My a/c guy said its the third peugeot he has done in around 15 years

The uv dye has run onto the connetors and its causing it to work one minute and then not the next.

He has cleaned up the connector and hopefully it will last till next wek when its replaced

It has a very slow leak as it is still working. It has a shyder valve i think he said so it wont need a re gas thank god :D Just a top up which he will do for free. Pressure switch including fitting £45 so not to bad i suppose 8) 8) 8) .
