transponder key cutting / programming

Hi I am new to my 406 but loving it already after only about 4 days , however I never checked how many keys it had when I bought it and it only has 1 , I rang peugeot and they want £91 , I tried timpsons shoes and keys and they told me because it was a 2000 it was a philips crypto that changes code each time it is used , so they couldnt do it , does any one know of anywhere to get one done? also I have a transponder code number written on the service book can they do the key from that?

£91 seems a good price compared to my local pug stealer who quoted @ £140

Yes I think the main dealer is your only choice, or be *very* careful with the one key you have got
