Re: 19 inch rims
Geordieboy managed to fit 19's on his D9 but they ruined the ride. It will camber steer and crash over bumps and rutts in the road. The 406 is not very good for wheels but 17's look pretty good with a 35/40mm sussy drop. I like the multi-spoke OZ style wheel, I don't like the ones with big gaps where you can see the weedy little disks/calipers behind
One huge problem with anything over 18'' is that the inner rim gets buckled in easily on our roads and leads to wobbly wheels (not good for your street cred).
Whatever you do - make sure you have the new wheels lazer aligned otherwise you'll scrub them big new tyres away in no time
Niz on here had some very nice 17's for sale recently!!

Re: 19 inch rims
if you get these you will need a 20mm-30mm spacer and longer bolts because the offset is wrong these wheels are designed to fit ford / vaux / renault etc not pugplaylife wrote: PCD 100-108 multi fits ET - 35 ""they fit on my 406 d8??thanks
with a 19' wheel it's not a good idea to run spacers at all because of the sheer forces
a company do make a hub kit for ford to pug wheels it's a really good piece of kit but retail is around £100 a set i cant remember the name of the company but i can find out if you want me too
