Pug 406SRi v's Audi A3 2.0 Turbo

Post by Burgerking »

Well the other night i was drvining down my local by pass from one town to the other. the road starts straight then goes into bends and turns and up's and downs. i went pass this audi A3 2.0T...i was doing about 60'ish. got about a car length passed him and i seen the headligths lift up in my rear view mirror, i thought here we go..lol. so was coming up to the last corner on the by pass knocked it into 3rd. he was up my pipe, came out the corner ....floored me baby and she left him....3rd gear moving away...4th gear....get smaller in my rear view....5th gear....bye bye.......

now i'm not saying my 406SRi turbo is the quickest thing on the road....but it supprise alot of boy racer's...lol......i've had my 406 nearly a month now and i really really love it.....and the looks and lines are gawjus.......

so any comments on some car's you might of raced and suprised....leave a comment...

cheers

Ive had loads of boy racers in my 406 Exec, and just the other week overtook a nice new Scooby doing a comfortable 125mph down the M20 at Wrotham Hill. Now he probably could have caught me up if he really wanted too, but I certainly surprised him.

Surprising how quick even the non-turbo 2.0 engine is, even with only 137bhp.

Plus i've decided to keep my baby now.

I pulled up at the lights the other day next to an Aston Martin DB9 Volante and when the lights changed we were neck and neck in 1st an 2nd then I began to take the lead in 3rd and 4th until I was a good 100 yards in front of him further down the road 8)

Mind you, he did stop for a paper and a pint of milk during the race :|
